About
International Masters student with the Erasmus Mundus Digital Library Learning programme (http://dill.hio.no). My thesis investigated the skills and knowledge required to work in a digital library/digital environment as seen by both practitioners and LIS educators in Australia. Possible curriculum inclusions were informed by digital library programs in Europe and the US, in particular the International Master for Digital Library Learning (DILL); the Digital Library and Information Services Master’s Program at the University of Borås, Sweden; and the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill)/Virginia Tech NSF funded collaboration.
My working experience in libraries includes the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Sound Library and the Disability Information Resource Centre (DIRC), both special libraries. Previously to working in LIS, I was a Business Analyst for EDS (Australia). I am currently the Project Officer with the Royal Society for the Blind in South Australia where I manage the digital audio book library.
